I haven't been to one in years but I was always told they only learn two or three haircuts and inflict do them on everyone regardless of what they ask.

Am I too old at 40 to go to one?

I think what might have slightly clouded my experience is that both the T&Gs I went to were in provincial market towns, and the recently poached from Snipzz stylists were under the impression they were now one step away from their own range of straighteners in Boots.

Um, I should add that I am from a provincial market town, and find that my most flattering cuts have always been at the salons that still did roller sets with overhead driers.

I've always been disappointed when I go there..
Had to go last year as usual hairdresser was away and needed emergency cut.

It was so poor for the money. Had to go back as it was completely uneven.

Even my dh commented on crap cut and he doesn't usually notice such things.

Bloke wasn't even looking at my hair as he snipped away.

Never again for me.

Its down to the owner and the stylists. The one in Nottingham is fantastic and always packed.
