Trick or treat! [hsmile]

carciofi - how scary!

Tracey - I shall be watching with interest on this as I too am desperate to find DD a lovely dress for the big event.

Fireworks at the child friendly Coram Fields tonight...it's usually lovely so I'm really looking forward to it. Now if that pesky rain would just hold off.

We love reading too - working our way through the Dahl & CS Lewis books with DS. He did love the Harry Potter books too.

carcioi Blimey, that is dreadful.

I think the key to finding lovely children's clothes is to buy things in boutiques in out of town shops.

DolceeBanana · 05/11/2010 14:12

have a couple of cocktail parties and thinking this with Prada silver/black lacey kitten heels ?

oh tracey...shame we'll misss you!!! Must meet up one of these days...Wink

I am getting DDs dresses for christmas too...lovely to wear for the parties etc and silver hebes are wonderful!

Have you worn your leopard belt yet...did get the cheapo JL version and really pleased...but not worn yet...think I need a leopard slik scarf...now, would love the LV 'Leo' but Hmm

We are in house mode...one of the places is going to auction so dh beside himself with anticipation/planning etc etc...agree it could be fab, but frustrated...one house I like...and dh not convinced, owing to distant 'road noise'....Hmm I could live with it on account of views, the 1.5 acres and the 'snug', so, so lovely....what me makes think I will be living in a dilapidated old wreck this time next year!!!!!

Good luck with your second view Tracey ....

traceybath · 05/11/2010 14:16

Pretty dresses HF but slightly more £££ than I was wanting to spend. I want bonpoint at monsoon prices Wink

Dolcee - love that dress! Oh lordy an auction would terrify me. House with sung and 1.5 acres sounds lovely and I never mind a little road noise as it means you're close to civilisation in my opinion Wink

traceybath · 05/11/2010 14:17

God - I can not type today but you know what I mean.

hellsbelles · 05/11/2010 14:20

oh houses - how exciting. Tracey & Dolcee good luck.

HF - yes they are beautiful but I too am going to be slightly less Avid (price wise) as DD will probably only wear once or twice!

hellsbelles · 05/11/2010 14:21

dolcee - love love love that dress too!

hf128219 · 05/11/2010 14:23

Dolcee Fantastic dress. Can I borrow it?! Smile

Yes, I agree re Bonpoint dresses with Primark Monsoon prices.

DolceeBanana · 05/11/2010 14:25

I adore this dress for DD1 tracey and Hells...can just imagine her wearing it on Christmas morn and will most prob order it!!!

hf128219 · 05/11/2010 14:27

Dolcee Liking that very much. It's also Tartan and I am Scottish!

DolceeBanana · 05/11/2010 14:29

In fact I adore the whole website...Ottoline and Chelsea are both beautiful too.....now there's a name Bunny...Ottoline...Wink I know you are studiously ignoring my offering of names, and who can blame you Wink...but sorry must keep spouting as I am sort of reliving the whole thing vicariously through you!

hellsbelles · 05/11/2010 14:30

Oh Dolcee - how pretty.

That is on my potentials list now for DD - I really want to do a little more looking though as it's rather a treat being able to buy pretty dresses (and not having to worry about body flattering etc that I have to with my purchases).

DolceeBanana · 05/11/2010 14:31

Alas, I have no scottish ancestry (that I know about) but have a penchant for all things scottish, particularly Brora and Anta cashmere and Ewan McGregor! Wink

traceybath · 05/11/2010 14:34

Thats very pretty Dolcee.

I like this too and imagining with the silver hebes Smile

Am going shopping with mil tomorrow morning and am hoping to persuade her to buy Bea a dress for xmas.

DolceeBanana · 05/11/2010 14:34

aww trimmed baby's hair today and DD and DS have had a cute bob and longish but neat 'style' - curiously rather like little bobs on gorls and longer hair on boys...so all neat about the heads in this house...except for me...have to wait until next week for mine!!!!

DolceeBanana · 05/11/2010 14:35

Ahh that's cute too Tracey...love a bit of velvet!!

bobs on girls...not gorls....

DolceeBanana · 05/11/2010 14:45

Er...yes, terrifies me too. The road noise is the M5 Grin but it is 3 miles away....however the house is elevated with amazing views, so of course you will hear a rumble when the wind is strong, in the wrong direction...but dh is seeking perfection so I fear it is out Confused

FritziGreenEyes · 05/11/2010 15:51

I would love something like this for DD for Christmas.

MarshaBrady · 05/11/2010 16:32

Ah thanks Dolce Smile and everyone!

Haven't done commissions as it is probably the most cost ineffective jumper there is. Wool from ahem Liberty and I am very slow Grin

Love all these dresses, and bracelets.

And thought these were nice too.

Bonsoir · 05/11/2010 16:55

fritzi - how about this skirt or in pink? Would be good teamed with a little soft cardigan and a feather headband, with metallic ballerinas...

FritziGreenEyes · 05/11/2010 17:12

Thanks bonsoir! That's a great idea. Maybe a light grey or cream cardi with the pink skirt?

Bonsoir · 05/11/2010 17:28

Or even Boden's very inspired chocolate zebra stripe cardigan, especially if you could get marron glacé metallic ballet flats...

FritziGreenEyes · 05/11/2010 17:33

Would have never thought of it but I love the zebra (and DD would too!). Any idea where I could get a feathered headband? Couldn't find anything on Monsoon/Accessorize website.

Bonsoir · 05/11/2010 17:41

My DD has a very lovely peacock headband, and Father Christmas is giving her a lovely pale pink feathered headband, but sadly both came from Le Bon Marché and I don't know where to buy anything as nice online. How about your local department store accessories department? Feathers are everywhere this season.

blossoming · 05/11/2010 18:00

I really like the heels on those shoes marsha. High but doable I'd say.
