Stick to style and beauty rosie and you'll be fine.

AIBU is great fun to read though, even if you don't post...

Fleecy · 14/10/2010 22:33

No idea - never yet done it I'm afraid!

SGM you don't have a profile so I can't nose at the threads you've been on! Was it super controversial? I might have a look...

I hate it when they post, get flamed and never come back. Was going to post an angry face but might be a slight over-reaction!

Heartsease · 14/10/2010 22:46

Sorry if you got a rough ride rosie -- it was because of the things others have mentioned. And the turkey joke was not made at your expense but just took on a life of its own.

You obviously have a love of discussing clothes so do stay! That's the point of the board.

Feel free to call me a bitch (and any other choice names you might pick up over on AIBU Grin), and I really hope you won't be offended, but can I suggest that you brush up a bit on when to use an apostrophe, and when not to? The BBC have a good guide: www.bbc.co.uk/skillswise/words/grammar/punctuation/apostrophes/Apostrophes

I hope you don't think I am being horrid for mentioning that, because I know it may not feel like the most important thing when you just really want to share ideas. But what you're trying to do is a sort of journalism, and it would help your credibility if you sorted this out. You're obviously ambitious and well informed, and keen to get lots of readers, so that's why I mention it -- it might help you achieve your aims Smile. Lots of blogs have got massive readerships so if that's what you want it's worth considering.

I really mean this nicely, honest!

Pass me a bucket

Glamrosie · 14/10/2010 22:54

Heartease, thanks for your advise, am getting lots of it from different sources too and trying to take it all on board. Don't know you well enough to call you a bitch Smile
What a night on here! Scared to return!

Hello glam! Only teasing Grin

I am past help though but I suspect there are some deeply lovely wonen here who like to get scrubbed up.

Glamrosie · 15/10/2010 08:55

Morning GR, am at work and thought I'd check back in. Never past help, we all need it. Think i've been taken slightly wrong on here. Just want to add re manicures, not had one since last years Christmas party. It's something I look forward too, my little treat and makes me feel better about myself. No harm in that, happy Mother = happy child, or so they say. Have a nice day x

Oh Glam - I feel mean now but as others have pointed out 'yummy mummy' is not seen as a compliment on mn.

S&B is fab though Grin

notyummy · 15/10/2010 10:36

Glam - can I firstly point out that I haven't namechanged to have a go at you - this has been my name for 4 years on MN Grin As many others have said, the whole 'yummy' thing will always get a kicking on here, however there are loads of people interested in clothes/looking good/making the best of yourself in a short amount of time. Despite my name I am definitely one of them.

Welcome.
