Hello all!

Cake - come back we neeeeeed you to tell us about your holiday....

OP posts:
bunnymother · 20/09/2010 12:45

NY - really like the long black dress - just lovely!! Family bike ride? I am longing to do that w our girls - so looking forward!

Plum - great blog! I also love red lipstick. In fact, will load a pic of myself w red lipstick in 2 ticks. Put it on in vain hope it would take attention away from big bump. Will let you decide how effective it was Grin

Thanks for stretch mark tips! Am putting Bio Oil on and hoping to limit the damage as much as poss. Think I have the kind of skin that damages easily, though - agree w comment re genetics - my mum has terrible stretch marks on her tummy. Mind you, she never lost the baby weight and has just added to it. Re age - am 35 so if age is a factor, I should be untouched [grin. Hoping that when I shrink back down to normal size won't be able to see them (which was the situation post DD). Twins as 2nd pregnancy is giving the old tum tum a hammering, though!

Cakey - love your blog! And you have miles of long lean legs Envy

Re leather skirts - anyone seen La Moss at McQueen's memorial? She looks incredible!

blossoming · 20/09/2010 12:46

Well dh away for next three days so would be appropriate to try no carbs. But then I've just eaten a pile of brown rice and spinach, so maybe tomorrow!
Love the blogs ltec and plum.

bunnymother · 20/09/2010 12:52

OK, photo up, but will remove this evening. Chortle away - everyone in RL gasps, then chuckles. Esp when they hear am not about to have the babies any day now. Also put up a pic of DD w my handbag - she loves her accessories Wink

MarshaBrady · 20/09/2010 12:57

Bunny you look fantastic. Absolutely.

Your dd is so cute too!

traceybath · 20/09/2010 13:02

Plum love the blog - I want to wear red lipstick but am too scared.

Bunny - you look utterly fabulous - you have a lovely bump and still look super slim everywhere else. Your DD is very pretty too.

OK - be careful when googling leather skirts thats all I'm going to say.

Bloss - I tend to do special k when looking for dramatic weight loss.

DolceeBanana · 20/09/2010 13:04

Loving the blog Plum!

Welcome back Hells and Carciofi!

Bunny - really like DDs shoes....love that style...will be getting some for my DDs.... Wink

I love leather pencil skirts, and like Cake will wear with contrasting textures...opaques and ankle boots/suede Oxfords....

blossoming · 20/09/2010 13:09

bunny you look amazing. And tiny. (Apart from the bump, of course). How cute is your dd?!

Bunny...you look gorgeous...a perfect bump! Who'd even know there were two in there!?

DD so cute too!

I love red lipstick/bit of a Chanel habit...but tend to stick to a neutral YSL for day...def red for nights out though...

DolceeBanana · 20/09/2010 13:20

Spooky Cake...I keep seeing Cos and Anthropologie things I love...a Cos crochet skirt and have just received the brochure for Anth...love all of it.

DolceeBanana · 20/09/2010 13:22

Oh everything...I have this months World of Interiors..(a guilty pleasure), and they have AWs house featured...

OllieWollieWoo · 20/09/2010 13:23

Bunny - you look amazing! Your bump is lovely and compact - all out front - so def all bump and not additional weight! Sure you won't have a problem shedding it post babies. A lovely pic.
Plum - really enjoyed your blog - will sign up for updates forthwith!
Blossomng - ta for looking in Kew - I thought the boots may be a bit shiney! The other ones are a little bit like some existing ones I have so not sure.
notyummy - really love the black dress - rare to find such a flattering one that isn't strapless. If the top bit is sheer, what will you wear underneath - would just a nude strapless bra be ok?

traceybath · 20/09/2010 13:23

EIE - may be Daphne Guiness who is indeed posh and rich and a couture customer.

Kate Moss - well love the skirt but honestly - her top is way too low cut and she needs to wear a bra [sniffy]

Hells - nice pencil skirt here which would possibly be a good length on you.

OllieWollieWoo · 20/09/2010 13:25

EiE - DM says its Daphne Guinness.

traceybath · 20/09/2010 13:36

Right - really like this skirt but of course they don't have it in my size.

I like how its styled there too.

MarshaBrady · 20/09/2010 13:37

Nice.

Nice hair too.

carciofi · 20/09/2010 13:43

Bunny, you look fab. Your dd is gorgeous and I love her little coat.

Just flicking through the Hush catalogue, it is making me look forward to winter. :)

LetThemEatCake · 20/09/2010 13:46

MRSJ I don't count green veg as carbs but obv corn, sweet pot, pumpkin, potato etc all carby.

so for fast loss I'd tend to do no carbs at all, but that makes me feel a bit edgy/ buzzy .. so yes, porridge for brekkie is good for slow-release energy (try rice milk instead of cow) then maybe salad and protein for lunch, then just salad or stir-fried/ steam veg for dinner. Try to have dinner no later than about 6.30, too, that helps. No sugar in drinks, obv, and no fruit after brekkie or mid-morning at a pinch. Some fruits worse than others - banana and grapes v.carby for instance, whereas berries not so bad

HTH Smile

btw thanks for kind comments re long legs, think just flattering camera angle at work, dd should get job as fash photographer!

bunny you look utterly marvellous and dd cute as a button

DolceeBanana · 20/09/2010 13:46

Yeah love the skirt Tracey...shame none left in the right size..

Daphne Guinness was AMcQ's muse, non?

LetThemEatCake · 20/09/2010 13:48

ps - I eat bags and bags and bags of rocket & spinach, so filling and only abut 30 calories!!

hellsbelles · 20/09/2010 13:51

bunny - you look fab!

Tracey - that does look good - also like the ASOS one (alas they are also out of my size).

Plum - you have inspired me to start rummaging through my dusty make up drawer in an effort to find the perfect red.

Bloss - was it you that had got hold of the Tom Ford lipsticks...where did you get them from? They seem to be taking an age to have them in the UK

Carciofi - we must have been checking out that catalogue at exactly teh time and I was thinking the same. I've never ordered from them though - is the quality good?

LetThemEatCake · 20/09/2010 13:53

one last post sorry - bunny have not got any stretchmarks and didn't really use anything so may be genetic BUT was given some cowshed stuff last preg and the smell was udderly (ha ha) divine.

hellsbelles · 20/09/2010 13:54

cake that is shockingly bad Wink

traceybath · 20/09/2010 13:54

Hells - am sure both Harvey Nichols and Selfridges stock the Tom Ford lipsticks.

LetThemEatCake · 20/09/2010 13:58

hells some qu's I have been meaning to ask you

what do you wear to work?
