My rule for M&S, if I have to - black or white only. The colours are always slightly wrong and the prints are beyond all reasoning, and as for anything for applied decoration - ugh!

ChippyMinton is right and has put his little wooden paw right on it - the colours are all wrong. Nearly the right colour but just too lilac, too minty, too vomity.
The fabric is always wrong too (Wallis suffers from this too IMO). Just far far too synthetic to be good.
