Help to stop vaping

Looking for some help, advice, tips if possible! I started vaping a few years ago when I started a new job and basically everyone else was and socially I just started to. Never been a smoker prior to that apart from the odd cigarette with a drink if people I’m with are smoking. Now I work from home it’s become a habit where I’m vaping at home. I’ve tried stopping and might go a few days but then get a thought and will go and buy a vape and then the cycle continues. Is it best just going cold turkey? Is it good to get something that gives the same hand to mouth reaction? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Why do you want to stop? That's the key as to whether you will or not I think.

I'm not trying to dissuade you, but while vapes are not ideal, they are in no way near as harmful as cigarettes and tobacco. But that's something you may not agree with.

I have no tips as I don't partake, but work out why and that'll help! Pressure from others never works BTW so it has to be from you.

It’s mainly for health reasons and to feel fitter and better in myself. It’s not that I started vaping to stop smoking but it was just a habit I picked up socially but now it’s every day.

I bought some patches to kick the ‘mouth’ habit without worrying about nicotine withdrawal. When I have that sorted I’ll then ease up on the patches.
it’s an insidious habit and difficult to crack
