Well done you!. I, ll be 10 weeks stopped on Wednesday, been OK so far. Don't feel much better health wise but like not smelling of smoke!.

well done ! How much £ have you saved and are you treating yourself to something lovely or a nice dinner out ?

Well done!
I felt so happy and grateful to be free of it. It was hard and I occasionally still think I’d love to be able to enjoy the odd cigarette but that pales in comparison with the feeling of freedom.

Thank you! Cigarettes are (relatively!) cheap here in Portugal so money wasn't a huge driver but since giving up I've started playing the piano, done some live (nude) modelling, got serious about learning Portuguese and, 3 weeks ago, joined a gym. Not bad for 61 and 50 weeks 😁

Ahhhh well done..I have given up vaping for nearly 2 days now can't wait to be one year in like you!

BCBird · 18/08/2025 18:09

That is a massive achievement OP. 😁

Congratulations and well done OP!

I gave up in February after 40+ years and can't wait to get to a year. I do occasionally dream about smoking though!

I've saved loads of money apparently although it seems to have migrated to my wardrobe because it's certainly not in my bank 😄
