Help. I need all tje tips I can get. Have to stop this awful habit. Started vaping in July during a stressful house move. My son vapes & always leaves one lying around. Quickly became a habit & helped me control my stress levels & overeating. I've lost a stone but that may be also due to other health issues. I'm now getting through a disposable crystal bar a day. That's about £40 a week!! Join me & let's go onto 2024 vape free

I'll join! My vaping has gotten out of control. I get through 1 hour of the day without using it. I can't believe I have let it get so bad. They are just too convenient to use. At least with cigarettes you had to step outside etc

How do you plan on stopping? I don't think I can go cold Turkey.

I don't think I can go cold turkey either. Think I'll try patches to start with.

Hi. Checking in as this is day 1 of trying to stop vaping. I think it's worse than the few roll-ups I used to smoke as there were huge gaps in between cigs.
With vaping it's constant. Crept up on me and need to stop.
I'm using the Nicorette Quickmist. Which is also addictive.
One thing at a time though!
How's everyone else getting on with quitting?

Hi everyone! Hope it’s ok to post, I NEED to stop vaping, going through a elf bar a day and can feel myself getting very short of breath at times, do you think it’s better to go cold turkey or buying a 0% first? Will be grateful for anyone’s help x

Oh same here. I posted a while back but started again.
It's a good idea to go clean turkey but it's whatever works best for you.
How long have you been vaping?

Ah I need to quit too! 😖😖😖

Bluewallss · 27/02/2024 14:21

I’ve recently quit.

Nicotine lozenges are a god send. I take one when I have a craving then completely forget about it all until I get cravings again. Then rinse and repeat.

I managed a month last year. But then started again. I'm planning on stopping again tomorrow. I'll check/in on how I'm doing!

Alan Carr's book is good. On quitting smoking. But you can use it for vaping. I need to reread it!
