Is there any Champix anywhere?

Morning everyone. I really need to stop smoking and unfortunately do not have the willpower to do so myself. I have tried going cold turkey on two occasions and end up quite spaced out/ill.

I used Champix once a few years back and it worked amazingly well for me, aside from the nausea and weird dreams- well worth it to be able to quit though, in my opinion. At the time, I had just started a new job and most staff were smokers so I stupidly stopped the Champix in favour of trying to make new friends out of my colleagues.

I went to my local pharmacy last month to ask for some more, they stated that they have not received new supply, and after a quick look online it would appear that they may well be discontinued due to suicide/suicidal ideation they induced for some people.

I have since ordered some Tabex to arrive in the next few days, but from what o have read, these require an amount of willpower too, which I am ashamed to say I just do not have when it comes to fags. I really want to get hold of some Champix from somewhere, if anyone has any ideas? Thank you in advance.

No, it's not being made anymore. Not because of side effects, but because its patent ended so Pfizer can't charge huge amounts for it anymore. So, even though it's the gold standard treatment it's not available due to economics. Sorry.

Looks like this pharmacy have some stock left. I had a quick look and they appear to be well received but make sure your do your due diligence before you order! X

Officially it was recalled as it contained a carcinogen, however, the side-effect of suicidal ideation and actual suicide probably aided that decision.

I smoked for 40 years & had never really tried to stop, but as I was getting older & becoming more health conscious I thought I really need to try & give up the cigarettes. I started with the champix, set my date & off I went, almost 6 years later I am a non smoker & even detest the smell of it. I had no side effects what so ever, I love not being a slave to smoking anymore - https://euhealth24.com/drug/champix
