Hi sorry if this has been asked before, I have tried numerous things to give up smoking, patches, vape, gum, cold turkey and have finally plucked up the courage to ring the gp, but instead of a gp appointment I have an appointment with a smoking cessation nurse. Will she or he be able to prescribe some of the medications I hear others have success with or will it just be patches again for a while, I feel I have exhausted this option so many times already and dont want to wait 2 weeks for my appointment just to be put on these again. Thanks for any help in advance.
