I quit smoking using the NHS smoking cessation nurse at my GP back in 2017. It was really helpful and I then successfully stayed away from the cigs for over a year. Towards the end of 2018 I was going through some stressful life changes (excuses excuses!!) and started again ...
My question is has anyone used the smoking cessation service twice? And were they ok about it? I’m embarrassed to admit to my GP that I’ve “relapsed”, and also feel bad about wasting NHS time and resources the first time only to start smoking again a year later, like a complete numpty!
