How I did it.

Hi everyone
Just thought I'd do a post here as maybe it will help someone.

I started smoking when I was 15. I smoked 20 a day up until the age of 33. I've now been a non smoker for just over a year and I can't tell you how good it feels to finally be free.

I have saved over 4 THOUSANDS POUNDS and, probably saved my life.

So how did I quit....

Last Match I went for a routine smear test. I knew something wasn't right when a large envelope of pamphlets came through the door a few weeks later. Long story short, after never having ANY issues and without having ANY symptoms, I was diagnosed with stage 1 cervical cancer. The reason why this is relevant is my consultant told me that nicotine makes the abnormal cells in your cervix basically go into overdrive. He told me I should stop immediately.

So I booked myself into the Alan Carr Easyway smoking clinic in London. 1 full day of the trainer dispelling the lies about smoking and the real reason we do it. I smoked my last cigarette that day as the class came to a close.

I haven't smoked since, it's been over a year now and I'm completely cancer free (thanks to the fact I was treated very quickly and the fact I haven't smoked since).

I tried everything before I succeeded this way. Yes I was given the news which we all hope will never happen to us but, the real reason I was able to stop was Alan Carr's Easy Way to stop smoking clinic. Please Google it if you have never heard of it (it's not the comedian; different Allan!). It's the best couple of hundred quid you will ever spend and they give you your money back if you don't manage to quit....you have nothing to lose.

I promise I don't work for them or anything like that. I just wanted to share with you how I went from a complete fag ash Lil to a non smoker, for good this time!
