Vapers - please help me fix my throat!!!

Been vaping for 2 weeks and doing so well - longest I’ve done in a couple of years. But for the last week my throat is so, so sore it’s becoming unbearable. My tonsils seem to be inflamed but I’m not ill in any other way so can only put it down to the Vaping. Using an eleaf mini istick with mini nautilus tank, 50:50 pg/vg juice (advised not to go over 50vg with my kit), and 12mg nicotine strength. Where am I going wrong? It’s becoming so unbearable I’m on the verge of quitting!

You can use higher VG, maybe 70/30 or even 80/20.

Drink more as vaping is dehydrating.

Try a different flavour, perhaps a mint one.

Remember that switching to vaping gives you nearly all the usual side effects from giving up smoking (except the nicotine related ones) and they vary by person. I started on 100% VG as I couldn't tolerate PG at all to start.

Thank you for replying snails I’ll give the higher vg a go then. Apart from the throat I’ve been really enjoying vaping this time round and really want to stick at it!

Your throats healing..your whole body will be healing as well. And your throat will get better. If your throats still sore on Monday call the doctor it could be strep and antibiotics might try and help
