Can someone help me figure out vaping?

I've looked through the messages here but a lot of the links are out of date and non existent. I have to give up smoking. I need to get a vape! But it seems like a language that I don't understand - coils and stuff. Can anyone give me advice on what is a good vape to start with?

You can do it very cheaply. eBay for ego 2200mah batteries and clearomisers. Then google one pound eliquid.

I can't really recommend anything specific (had mine ages so there may well be better available now) but I can talk you through some basics just so it doesn't all sound like double Dutch Basically you need a power source (called a mod) and a tank (which holds your juice). Coils are the heat source (like a tiny electrical coil) and these wear out and need replacing fairly regularly, it's easy and your local vape shop will show you how when you buy your tank and mod. The only other thing you need is juice (again ask the shop you buy your vape from to show you how to refill it) and you're all set! Even easier.... pop into tesco and buy a starter vape kit this will contain a battery a battery charger an an atomiser buy some vape juice I would start with a higher nicotine level to start off with... stick to tobacco flavour for now until you get used to it. This is a bit pricier than going online etc. But it's a good start and easy !

Ok I posted similar ages ago! Quit my 30 a day habit about 18 months ago and no relapses

Battery - I use eleaf ipower as the charge lasts for ages. That's your power bit and you charge it
Tank - I use a mini triton. It fills at the top. The coils screw into it

They're the bits you shouldn't need to replace unless you break them!

Coils - I just get the mini triton ones. You need a new one if it tastes burnt or funny (technical!). If you change it, then it needs to sit for a bit to soak the liquid up. I tend to do mine at night and then it's all good to go in the morning

Liquid - I like eliquid 4 a quid, using sherbet lemon and rainbow fizz at the minute. Strength depends how much you smoke, I used 18mg as I was on 25-30 a day

I quit with a vape 5 years ago now, did relapse a year ago for personal reasons but found it easy to stop again and was completely fag free for four years. Back on the vape again now and no plans to go back, Milli is right, it will change your life
