I seem to have given up smoking. I can't quite believe it!

I have been smoking since I was 16 (which is many, many years ago!) - quite heavily, I think. For the past 10 or so, I've been on roll ups, getting through around 30g a week. I've been completely skint this week so I dug out a 10 Motives disposable fake cigarette thing that I bought with good intentions a few months ago...and for the past few days I have been "smoking" that. Not only have I not misssed real tobacco, I think I've preferred this fake one.

It tastes different but the throat hit feels exactly the same, which is something I would miss if it wasn't there. My two big tests were first smoke of the morning with a coffee & after a heavy meal - both of which passed with flying colours.

I am amazed at how well this has worked for me & I don't think I will ever smoke actual tobacco again.

Sorry to babble but I am quite astonished because I thought I'd never, ever be able to stop.

Gosh...no more ashtrays, lighters, ciggie papers, stink....

Congrats! I gave up almost two years ago with an ecig and I couldn't believe it either!

I also preferred the ecig as it didn't make my mouth all gross.

The only way is up now OP!

Congrats! it has been long way to stop. I can tell because i stopped smoking few months ago. I had been smoking for about 10 years and tried to stop few times. But i probably was not strong enough and always came back to cigarettes. Then i ordered starter kit from Vapour2 and it seems like it works well. I could not get used those flavours from the beginning so i was usually on red tobacco ones. But now i actually mostly use fruit e liquids and i do not miss tobacco at all. So well done to us:-)

OP, I was the same, except I started at 14!

3 years ago I bought an e-cig so I could "smoke" at a music concert I was going to. I haven't had a cigarette since.

In fact, I really hate the smell of them now, and just can't imagine ever having a cigarette now

Well done to you all :)

I've currently stopped with inhalator (not feeling as positive as you guys) and keep on going to absentmindedly light it
