Anyone else think one pound liquids are a bit shit?

Thought I'd give them a go after seeing them recommended on here but they don't have s very strong flavour, seem to crystallise in the tank and I've had to change coils more frequently since using them. Anyone else have these issues or have I just got a bad batch?

Only time I get gunked up coils is with dark/sweet juices, never had that really with £ eliquid or the crystallising but agree they can taste a bit iffy.
To be fair I found getting a flavour I really liked very hard so their liquids were a good/cheap way of finding out if I would like say banana or spearmint etc then trying a different brand.
In saying that I do like their heizen and very berry liquid and a couple of their high vg liquids.
Five years on and I'm still looking for new stuff Grin

To be fair it is the darker flavours I've been trying - I'm on strawberry milkshake at the moment and it's the worst so far! I have a very berry one that I've not started yet - fingers crossed it's better. The first liquids I tried were Hengen (I think) - I'll probably switch back once I've used this order up

Tis difficult to find something that suits, taste is subjective after all. When I smoked I stuck to one brand and maybe treated myself to Marboro if I was flush but I can't stand any old shite when vaping. Was a time when custards were all the rage but I found them gross.
Have tried Hangsen? in the past but did nothing for me.
Think it's like wine, a £5 bottle will do the job and taste rank but a £10 bottle will do the job and taste nice however I begrudge paying more than say £2.50 for 10ml of eliquid although with fags £10 a packet I'm still saving loads Smile

I really liked their lemon sherbet and black currant licquorice. But yes - some aren’t to my taste for for £1 you can’t conplain!

LooksBetterWithAFilter · 16/12/2017 17:17

Some of the pound ones are rubbish but then so are some of the £5 I’ve not found one I like and stuck to yet.
On the dirt cheap side I’ve been buying ones from B&M and home bargains that are 95p and the flavour in them is pretty good.

onepoundeliquid's mint blast and peppermint are my standard juices now, they are always the same, cheap and reliable.

Custard or creamy juices will clog up tanks more than minty and fruity juices.

I like them! Obviously they don't taste as good as the artisan ones I buy for £20 in town in the hipster vape shop, but that's to be expected.

When did you buy yours? They had a huge fire at the factory about a month or so back. I'm wondering if that had an effect on the quality of the batch you received.

I like the triphammer site eliquid 4 a quid. Vaping their sherbet lemon and rainbow fizz

MistressDeeCee · 12/01/2018 21:09

I like them. Cant see much difference between the more expensive I used to buy, the only time I notice a difference is when I change strength. I use a tobacco flavour, and a cherry flavour. Don't want to spend loads on liquids as part of the thing with smoking cigs was the sheer cost of it all
