She's always smoked - I don't know how many a day but she always has half a rolly in her pocket and seems to smoke constantly when we're outside ( she doesn't smoke inside).

I'm a smoker and have just ordered a vape to quit with. I've been on and off for years so am hoping this will help me stick with it.

She is always ill, wheezes all the time, won't go to the doctor as she know they'll tell her to stop smoking, even when she has one of her frequent chest infections. She had a chest X-ray about 5 years ago and was told she had to quit immediately as her lungs couldn't take it any more.

I know it has to be her decision to quit and there's nothing I can say to make her do it ( she's very stubborn!) just wanted to say somewhere how worried I am about her.

I want her to see her grandchildren grow up.

It makes me want to quit - I see what it's doing to her and I don't want to be in the same position.
