Need to know a bit more about what you are referring to? There's various brands & shops called Vape 88 - including the ultra-cheap imported liquid you can get in Poundland!

The pound land stuff is what I'm on about

I really wouldn't use it; as far as I can tell it's typical cheap far eastern import stuff, which means it's unlikely to be produced to the standards we should be looking for. You may recall some of the scare stories about toxins in ecig vapour? Well the extra cheapo imports are the ones they tested to get those results.

The only really cheap liquid I would recommend that anyone tries is onepoundliquid - UK made, has clean room certificates & full safety testing done on the liquids themselves. Not the poshest and can be a bit "basic" but does the job for me.

Do you mean diacetyl Allergic? That showed up in a lot of quite posh brands. It wasn't caused by dodgy manufacturing, it was because they used certain types of flavouring that are perfectly safe to eat but possibly not to inhale long term.

I still cheerfully vape Hangsen. It's cheap because it's high PG and made in vast quantities in a country where labour is cheap. I'm happy that it's as safe and well tested as anything else on the market.

Onepoundeliquid is brilliant though Smile

I've been having a nose around. Vape 88 is packaged and sold by Supreme Imports. There's a trade brochure here which includes ingredients but no country of origin, let alone any other manufacturer's details. The company's main business is battery importing so it's likely they don't know what they are doing in this market.

So it's a no from me.

ISTR there were tests in the early days that found plenty of other contaminants. I've never had concerns about Hangsen - they are a massive business who know they need to get all the necessary western world safety certificates to be stocked by reputable companies.

I've always been very wary of ultra-cheap liquids, and only started using OnePoundLiquids because I've actually spoken to the business owner & seen all their certificates, had video tours of their clean rooms etc. - my normal reaction to the ultra cheaps is to run a mile.

However in this case I've also drilled down a bit more - was going to post this a couple of days ago but my home phone & internet was screwed. There's a quick video on the Supreme Imports web site that shows 88Vape being made by Vape Nation in the UK and, if the voice over is true, they have all the usual certs & testing done. So I may well have maligned them if that's the case Blush.
