I have to stop smoking. It's killing me, I feel so lethargic and unhealthy. I've got a vype vapour thing from the supermarket but am not impressed and still smoking about 20 ish rollies a day Sad
after nosing about on here I'm about to buy a aspire premium kit and some £1 liquids from one pound liquid. Is this worth the money? £50 is a lot to me!
Also which liquid is good, I'm currently on golden Virginia rollies and the liquid in the vype tastes like vanilla which is nice!
lastly, what are coils and when and how do you replace them?!
Sorry for super post thanks so much in advance!!

Hi, sounds like a good plan to get yourself a decent set up. I use an iStick and don't think you can go wrong with that one. Have got an aspire battery which I use as back up but prefer my iStick.

I've managed to cut down from five a day to one a day (roll ups), so perhaps you could start by cutting out some of your rollies, and work from there?

Liquid wise, it really depends on your taste preferences, kinda like food none could tell you which you will like. Personally I only vape custard based flavours, and find all the others pretty sickly. I recommend finding a vaping shop where you can try flavours to see what works for you.

The coils I use are around £8 a pack of five and one lasts around two weeks. When you buy your tank (thing that you fill with liquid) you will know which coils it uses and the ready built ones I use just screw on. Super easy. You will know it needs replacing because the vapour production goes down and the liquid tastes kinda burned.

Good luck.

Go for it. I was a 20 a day golden vag smoker for 40 odd years & am now nearly 3 years without a fag.

I vaped & smoked for about three weeks & then went over to all vaping & have never looked back.

I vape 'The Sherlock' from ecigwizard, a tobacco flavour & sometimes add a bit of rhubarb & custard to it.

If you have a local vape shop go there as most of them will let you try a few flavours.

Come back here if you have any questions - no question is too daft to ask!

(First time I refilled my tank I poured all the liquid down the middle & it went all over the table Grin )

Thanks ever so much!! I'm just going to go for it! Feeling quite positive about it and hoping vaping helps. Do you think the more expensive one will be better than my £20 jobby ? I seem to be just vaping that in between rollies in the evenings which is not what I intended!!
I'll let you know how I get on! (and post when I cant put the thing together!)
Is it just me who finds the vaping equipment confusing?! tanks and coils, liquids and clearomizers ...I was like WTF?! Grin

Yes it will be loads better and yes, everybody finds it very confusing at first Smile It makes a lot more sense when you have the thing in your hands and can see how it all fits together. Have a look on Youtube - if you search the name of your kit on there you'll probably find some really helpful 'how to' videos.

I was so WTF for ages - then it all clicked & made sense.

Come here & ask any questions you want. Our motto is "No question is to silly to ask".

It's a fucking minefield when you start but it does get better & does get you to the no fag stage.

Hello may I join? Hope you don't mind cherry

I also need to give up smoking My health is truly suffering and I'm thinking about it more and more. Constant cough/chest infections. I've smoked for 33 years.

Can someone post a clicky to a super dooper vaper with idiot proof instructions? There's a shop in the next town I can try flavours etc but is it cheaper online? I think I want a good old fashioned tobacco flavour to start (because it will be hard enough!! And I bloody love it

Thanks

Try RY4 flavour, it's like a sweetish vanilla/caramel tobacco.

Welshmaenad · 05/10/2015 18:27

Shakes, try an eleaf istick - I've got a 30w which I started on and a 50w which I bought to go with a big fat sub ohm tank, but the 30w is very user friendly and simple. If yours doesn't come bundled with a tank, a nautilus or kangertech pro tank 3 are good options.

Or, try an eGrip. I've got one, it's a natty little thing, all built in so you don't need a separate tank, and really neat and discreet.

Welshmaenad · 05/10/2015 18:31

Egrip - www.elegantvapour.co.uk/starter-kits/egrip-ego-one/egrip.html

Istick kit - just choose your tank (nautilus is better than the air tank but a few £ more) www.vape2vape.co.uk/starter-kits/eleaf-istick-full-kit.html

I haven't checked if these are the cheapest but you can at least see what you need.
