Kanger EVOD starter pack - any good?

I've sent my brain into a tizz looking at websites and reading threads on here and elsewhere!

I've found this Kanger EVOD starter pack (with no liquid) for £25 on amazon but seen that it's £40 and out of stock on the vapour room site, so, do you think the amazon one might be a fake of some sorts Confused

Also - has anyone actually used this kit? I know its a personal choice thing but I am frazzled with all the options! I know I need to buy the liquids separately but I think that's ok unless I'm missing something?

I have looked at the ones that people seem to use a lot on here but think I'd prefer less of a 'big' purchase for my first time Smile

I wouldn't know if it is genuine or not, but I started vaping with that kit & it was a good place to start from.

Once you get going to full vaping you will need another battery so you always have a charged one on you.

Lots of us started by dual fuelling - ie some cigs & some vaping.

Good Luck & come back with any other questions you have.

Just seen that it does have 2 batteries - in which case it's a brilliant price.

And the order is fulfilled by Amazon - don't know if they check for dodginess or not?

Thanks Magi Smile I think I'l risk it and order it at that price - it's prime delivery too!

Can I ask what liquids you used to start with? Do they always come in different strength nicotine levels or am I being dim? I thought this pack + some liquids and I'd be well away?

I plan to do both at first yes - also have the Allen Carr book waiting to be read at some point...

How many do you smoke a day at present?

People who smoke 20 a day are usually advised to start on the 18ml strength liquids.

If you smoke more than that go for a higher strength.

If you smoke 10-12 a day go for 12ml.

When you take your first puff of your vaper you will almost certainly cough - they smoke very differently to a fag - try small, slower pulls on it.

And you will smoke it more as it does not deliver as much nicotine as a fag. SO you may have 3/4 puffs 3/4 times an hour as opposed to one fag an hour.

Try to drink more water as well - that really helps.

Good Luck - and there's always help here, no question is too stupid is our motto.

That's a brill starter kit, I got that one to start with and the batteries still work fine a year later :)
As for liquids, there are so many to choose from! Make sure you try a few, there are desserts, fruity, tobacco, sweets, aniseed....
I love dessert vapes, mainly use triphammer for Cream Tea 2, yellow snow and Bitty. Alchemists cupboard is also good (coconut caramel and hazelnut honey) and I think you get 5 for £20. But these 2 suppliers are a bit more expensive, but I like them and they are still cheaper than smoking!

Thanks all Flowers Am glad you have all said it's a decent starter kit as it has arrived already! Less than 24 hrs Shock

Quite excited but won't be getting liquid until tomorrow now. There is a shop near me and apparently they will let me try flavours etc before I buy so I'm going to do that before ordering further supplies off t'interwebz. At least I'll have an idea of what to expect I thought Smile

I'll defo use your link Polter - that site didn't come up at all on my many hundreds of searches yesterday but at a quid a go it has to be worth a go!
