Airport security for vapours

I have a short flight tomorrow for work, there and back in the day. I only have my handbag. I have been looking online and I think I need to put my battery on the electrical tray and the cartomizer in a sealed plastic bag. Is that correct? Do I need to empty it and take separate liquid? I will only need the one for the day but unsure as to the best way to do this. Ryanair flight.

Yes, you'll be fine. If you want to take another bottle of liquid, just in case, put it in the sealed bag.

You don't need to empty your tank/cartomiser.
