As a vaper of well over 6 months now who thought originally that I would love dessert & custard flavours I have found that the majority have ended up in the "if I run out I'll use it " box.

I never thought i would go for tobacco type flavours & came across manabush by chance & I've ended up sticking with them for the last few months preferring them over the minty liquids that first got me off the stinkies !

I also still love colonel booms but I am looking for something new to add without adding to the already full box of spares ......recommendations ?

Anyone ?
Any vapeing vipers want to share their finds ????

I've vaped exclusively tobacco (The Sherlock) for about 2 years. Now I sometimes mix it with a bit of rhubarb & custard for a change.

Virtually every other flavour I've tried I haven't liked - but I have not got a sweet tooth at all which I think makes a difference.

crispandfruity · 29/03/2015 18:25

I'm only 4 weeks in, I like fruity ones and I bought a nice strawberry and custard one (Obsession's Passion btw!) but they are like my treaty ones. For day to day I mix a bog standard tobacco one with some menthol or mint. I like the menthol/mint throat hit.

Tipsykisses · 29/03/2015 18:40

Magimedi I remember the Sherlock being mentioned on a few threads & have finally spotted it recently , it's on my list to try along with a few others .
Is it just tobacco or does it have a hint of anything ?

Im thinking I might try mixing a few of my juices together to get rid of some of them , a few if them were nice but just not as nice as my adv .

Bluddymofo have you tried different brands or do you stick to the same ?
I love key west by colonel boom but others I've tried seem to be missing something or seem quite mild in flavour .
I've been trawling the reviews on POV this afternoon looking for something new .
just ordered some snow leopard so fingers crossed it's a goodun!

I'm still stuck on a mix of RY4/RY6 most of the time, after almost a year and a half.

I don't have a sweet tooth and thought I would get on well with coffee and nut flavours. Instead, I find I like custard (GVC or Digby's) with a splosh of banana when I fancy a change.

magimedi · 29/03/2015 22:41

Tipsy, The Sherlock (capital letters all the way for the most inspired name ever for a juice Grin ) is a smooth tobacco flavour - no hint of anything else besmirches my 'The Sherlock' !!

Available here

(I have no interest in the company that sells it - just think it's the best tobacco liquid out there)

Tipsykisses · 29/03/2015 22:50

Thank you Magi Smile
Plenty I have always missed the date for GVC , so many people say it's good so it's another one on the list to try .... I seem to have skipped the shinyitis but have become a juiceaholic instead !

I pretty much exclusively use t juice concentrates and mix my own at 20% flavouring. Love their black and blue at the minute, which is a blackcurrant mentholly juice. Also love vamp vape, coconutty caramel.

Tipsykisses · 30/03/2015 11:41

Ginmakesitallok I had just ordered 3 vampvape last week-2 menthol & winternips , hoping they will be nice as the last lot of menthols (different brand )had a bit a nasty aftertaste to them .

Thanks so much to whoever it was that mentioned GVC on here , I've now finally managed to get a bottle !! Grin

I don't feel confident enough to make my own Gin, it seems very confusing and technical , I only just about have time to clean & rewick my coils when they are desperate Blush

Gin - If/when you had a few moments to spare would you consider starting a thread about making your own juices?

It would be lovely to read about it from someone who has done it, has no commercial axe to grind & who can explain things simply!

  • 2 for gin to do a thread on making your own !

Polter I do like strawberry fields as a change ( ordered after speaking with you on a previous thread )
It leaks through the air holes on my nautilus though,it's the only juice that does it .

ginmakesitallok · 31/03/2015 14:04

Oh goodness! It really doesn't deserve a thread of its own, I don't do anything fancy! Will give it a go though.

magimedi · 31/03/2015 14:19

Gin - It does deserve its own thread - easy to find for future reference for a start.

And I think there are quite a few of us who would like to try making our own juice but don't quite know where to start.

It's the same as all the vaping problems - there is so much info out there that it is bewildering for newbies.

SingingHinnies · 23/04/2015 22:34

There are not many juices i like but i have found this one and absolutely love it. After getting it and trying it first time i decided i didn't like it as it reminded me of washing up liquid so left it a couple of days, now i have vaped a whole bottle and ordered another one. Is a lovely refreshing lime, very tasty

SingingHinnies · 23/04/2015 22:42

I thought i would love the coffee flavour ones as i love coffee but i detest them, always leave a funny taste, didn't think i would like the fruity ones but the more i am trying the more i'm leaning towards them. Tried vaping king cherry bomb but its a bit too menthol tasting for me, strong menthol with cherry, ive decided i prefer Yorkshire fog which is more a hint of mint not mentol.

I got a few of the LiQuid ones just to try them and didn't like any of them apart from the very berry which is lovely and fruity, the others taste a bit synthetic, thought i might like the Lemon Sherbert one they do because i like the Lime from vaping king but it taste a bit like cleaning fluid.

Boutonneux · 24/04/2015 16:47

I've spent so much on liquids, most of which are relegated to the "don't know what to do with them, seems a shame to bin them but I won't use them" box Blush

I adore diet cherry coke so foolishly bought a 30ml bottle - I hate it.
I'm a coffee fiend so thought I would love it - nope, it's horrible and left such a strong aftertaste I had to bin the clearomiser (luckily was only a cheap one but still, was annoying).
Black jack - horrible.
Fruit salad - barely tastes of anything (was highly recommended by a friend).

The only ones I've actually liked so far are custard and banana (separate, not combined) but the custard especially I find a bit sickly after a while.

I did try my local vape shop last week and it was great for trying the liquids out but the overly helpful assistant put me off a bit by watching me intently with each flavour I tried while grinning enthusiastically and asking "well?" after each one. I wasn't brave enough to ask him to politely leave me alone to just try them!

SingingHinnies · 24/04/2015 16:55

Boutonneux you sound like me ive done the same, try and find some i think i will like or friends say they love but i never like them. Stuff i like i think ooo i will like that then get the liquid and hate it. I kbow what u mean about the coffee ones they leave a horrible taste ans u can still tsate it when u add another juice. Ive decided im juat going to stick to the slime(lime) and buy a big bottle instead of wasting money

magimedi · 24/04/2015 17:48

Boutoneux - Why don't you start a swap thread on here? A couple of bottles cost little to post & you might get to try some new flavours that way.

I have been faithful to The Sherlock (tobacco) flavour for al lthe time I've vaped, but have recently come round to rhubarb & custard, which I mix with Sherlock for an evening vape.

My hairdresser, who I persuaded to give vaping a try, has become a real fiend & now mixes his own. I tried a puff or two of his pure raspberry vape the other day & really liked it.

When I was in France last month I went into a few vape shops. The French vape a lot of tobacco - most shops had 10+ varieties & the only other flavours they had a fruit & all just one fruit. None of our coffee, bubble gum etc.

magimedi · 24/04/2015 17:49

PS If you are coming to the June meet in Brighton, do bring any flavours for a swapo then.

Can't remember if you can come or not, but all welcome!
