So, i finally made the leap and got my first box mod. dance
I have a bunch of first generation Kangertech Evods, Evod Glass tanks, Protank Mini 3's (with updated airflow control) and an EMOW. Now I also have an iSick 30w.
I had to go out for a bit so I could not really test it yet, let alone i did not pick an atty to go with it yet (leaning toward a subtank mini), so for now i am using the EMOW with it. I am using a 1.5 ohm dual coil and I am vaping at 4.2v/10.3w. I am afraid to go any higher due to the coil rating and I do not have many spares on hand as I am waiting for some from Fasttech.
Now on to the good parts:
I used to joke that for me i would never get a box mod as it would feel like holding a pack of fags in my hand and smoking it all at once. Let me tell you i tried a few box mods and this is exactly how they felt to me. Then a few weeks ago while we were out, I finally got to see the exact size of an istick and knew it had to be mine! It totally feels comfy in my hand, it is so comfy in fact, I would say it is better than holding a rounded style battery. It also feels more solid in my hand, in fact i am typing this while holding on to it. Due to the shape of it, I am also not afraid to leave it standing up on my desk without some sort of stand for it. The clouds, oh wow the clouds! Since picking it up I cannot put it down. Really I am absolutely delighted with my shiny (well ok, black, not shiny) new purchase. For me I really thought i would finally stop dualing with the purchase of the EMOW, but there were times where I truly felt i was not getting enough power still, so I made the leap to vv/ww and I hope it helps.
The bad parts:
Really minor and mainly only cosmetic, my led screen is at a bit of an angle. My up and down arrows are also a bit at a tilt. Again, really minor as its not like I must stare at them constantly, so I can live with it.
