I need to quit. I can't afford to keep smoking aside from the health benefits from stopping.

I haven't had a cigarette since 8pm last night. Please tell me I can do this? I am currently trying ignore the nicotine demons in my head screaming at me.

Ypu CAN do this. Get all the support you need and reward yourself when you've quitfor a month. Have you seen carbe's thread? ShShe's a fair few days in and says it's getting easier

Do you have patches

tuckingfablet · 10/10/2014 11:50

I don't have anything as I wasn't actually planning on quitting but looking at my bank statements made me realise how much I'm wasting that I could be saving for dds first birthday/christmas in December.

Seconding that you keep reading Carbe's thread, she's doing incredibly well.

You may want to consider some form of NRT if things get really bad - which type would depend on what aspect(s) of smoking you're missing the most
