Ages ago, in one of the "Evangelical" threads, someone linked to a spoof anti-vaping letter from someone complaining they could no longer feel all superior to their friends who used to smoke.

I don't suppose anyone would remember where it was, or post a link to it please? (beg grovel etc)

Was it the wonderful 'Put cancer in e-cigarettes, say non-smokers' by the Daily Mash?

ha! Yes I've sent it to a few people too. I have the bookmark in a folder marked 'Policy' along with loads of stuff about the TPD and WHO

Ah your (in)famous bookmark folder of links! Mine is more positive - the Farsalinos web site, the ASH report etc. I find the ASH report most useful when talking to brainwashed people who've been fed all the "e-cigs are worse than real fags" crap.

Talking of links, can't remember if this one from Public Health England has been linked before....

This is my favourite link to send people at the moment. Bloody marvellous piece of writing.

The thing I particularly like about the Public Health England one is that it's an official Government body, the first to come out reasonably strongly in favour of e-cigs rather than hysterically denouncing them as the work of the devil.

I've been meaning to look up the Clive Bates site for ages for a browse. Will read it with interest .
