Would like to stop smoking when having a drink

Hi all

I used to be a heavy smoker until 6 years ago when I became pregnant. I stopped for a few years but in the last 2 years will have approx. 5 cigs when I have had a glass of wine.

I don't smoke if I have not had a drink but do tend to have 2-3 glasses of wine a few times a week and reach for the fags.

I know the answer is not to drink but I do like a few glasses of wine at the weekend.

So I would like to try e-cigs, can anyone recommend any and how much are they?

Many thanks xx

Hi busybusy, how much do you want to spend? Grin

The cheapest kit I recommend is this one for £8. The battery life isn't huge but that shouldn't be an issue if you are just a light evening smoker. The clearomisers that come with that kit are not bad at all and the battery is compatible with lots of different clearomisers if you want to try something different later.

You'll need some liquid to go with it. I get most of mine from here, they're not posh but they're consistently OK. It's a good idea to get a few different flavours to start with and bear in mind that none of them will actually taste of fags. Strength-wise, you might be OK on 12mg or you might need 18mg. Get some of both and see what suits you, it's only £2 for 10ml which will last you ages.

Good luck and do come back with questions, however daft Smile
