You can use a cotton bud down the centre pipe to get rid of condensation. The crappy thin ones from the £ shop fit best. I do this whenever I refill and it keeps everything gurgle free.

You can also wash them out. I wash mine (gs-h2 but similar) once a week or so. Just disassemble and give everything a blast through with hot water and leave to air dry. You might also want to at this point to get more life out of the coil.

To PM someone you click on "message poster" at the top right of a posting by the person you want to contact Smile. Automatically opens a PM to that person...

I get the ASDA ultra-cheap cotton buds for this - £1 for 800. The more expensive cotton buds are, the thicker the ends & you need the stingiest ends you can get. Always check you haven't left a chunk of the cotton wool in the tube too!

Because I have loads & loads of clearos I tend to drop the coil section out then dump both parts in a bowl of hot water for a few hours. They then sit on the windowsill until I need them. Cleaning the wick can make a major difference if you're starting to get a bit of a burnt taste, which can happen anything from a few days to a couple of weeks of use depending on usage, liquid used, coil etc.

I don't keep a cap on either and i use the old rolled up kitchen roll trick too :)

Blakey3166 · 03/08/2014 21:42

Ah brill I'll try that.
As for the pm'ing, must be different if viewing on my phone, if I click on a poster'a name it just takes you to their profile, no opportunity to pm.?!

No not on their name - over on the right hand side of that same line you should have "Add message|Report|Message poster". You click on the "message poster" bit of that.

Of course it may be different on phones rather than a PC...

Blakey3166 · 04/08/2014 17:54

No to the right of the names there's only date and time posted- I'll check out if dif on phones viewing.
How do you rinse mouthpiece out coincidentally? Take apart, remove coil head once liquid gone and run under hot tap?

Ah OK. On the PC version it has the date & time thing right next to the poster name, then the other options I mentioned way over by the right hand side.

And yes, exactly that with warm/hot water. If you have plenty of spares, just leave it all to soak.
