No Sleep [sad]

Can some-one please give me some idea when I might sleep properly again. I have been waking up every hour pretty much since I quit - 24 days.

Today I no longer feel positive, I feel like shit and I need more sleep. I'm at work now and just feel like crying.

Sad Brew

Sorry I don't know as the sleeplessness only lasted a few nights for me. Are you getting much exercise? That could help. Also, I know you are trying to keep the use of the ecig to a minimum but could you try having a vape before bed?

Hope you feel better soon, you're doing really well x

Jayne35 · 24/06/2014 12:45

Maybe I will Vape before bed, I'm happy to vape if I want it but I just don't seem to at all, cravings aren't really a problem, I guess it's different side effects for different people. It seems like ages since I have slept properly.

Oddly I used to lay awake for ages now I'm asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow - but awake again in an hour or so.

I have been cycling 5-6km each evening for the last week plus loads of walking at weekends.

Thanks for your support Plenty Smile

How's it going Jayne? Did you have a better night last night?

Jayne35 · 25/06/2014 22:00

Hi Plenty, thank you for asking. I only woke about four times so it was better and I felt better for it this morning. Been cycling this evening even further than normal so fairly knackered, hoping for another ok or better nights sleep.

How are you getting on? It's not that long since you quit either is it? Smile

Oh I'm coming up for 9 months so I'm way past the shitty bits Smile I'm still thoroughly addicted to nicotine and can't see that changing any time soon, as long as I'm not killing myself I find it hard to care.

Glad you had a better night. Still, waking 4 times isn't great. Do you have any spare AL? Could you take a day or two to doze and catch up on sleep?

Jayne35 · 26/06/2014 16:09

Well done on 9 months, I think I would still be addicted if the ecig was more like a roll up, I can't stand the thickness and didn't like cigarettes either once I had got used to rolling my own.

I woke once last night, I'm really chuffed with that and much happier today Grin

Brilliant Jayne that's a massive improvement! Fingers crossed for an unbroken night's sleep tonight.
