Just received my first order from Triphammer: do they usually need steeping?

TIA Thanks

I've never steeped mine and love them. What did you get? My favourites are refresher and love hearts.

I got Devon Custard and Caramac Smile

Is the custard nice?

Raia · 25/05/2014 17:19

It's pretty good but not as nice as the egg custard tart juice from Alchemist's Cupboard - might improve with steeping though Smile

Most things improve with steeping! Now that I've got myself established on vaping, I get all my liquids before I need them; I'll often try a bit as soon as they arrive, but then chuck them in a drawer. Every time they come out days (or weeks if it's one I didn't like much) later, they're nicer, even when they're nice to start with.

How are they now, Raia?

Ok so steeping you just keep them in the bottle and let them mature in the dark? I LOVE triphammer stuff, addict! I'm dying to try some of that Grants Custard that's never in stock though.

There's a whole mystique about steeping! Some people say you have to give the bottles a shake everyday as well as change the air in the bottle by giving them a little squeeze. I did do that to start with, but really can't be bothered now. I have a drawer where I keep the bottles which is warm and dark, and there they sit until I want them. I don't deliberately steep them, it just so happens that the place I keep them is suitable for steeping Grin
