But the volts thing on the bottom what does it do? I'm ashamed to admit I actually expected something to spin while I vaped lol xx

He he. The volts thing at the bottom will turn up or down the voltage passing through the coil, increasing the "oomph". More oomph can give a better more satisfying vape, but only up to a certain point after which it starts to taste burnt.

So the idea is to start with the voltage turned right down, then slowly turn it up bit by bit. Once it starts to taste burnt, dial it back just a little.

Do bear in mind that different vaporisers will do better with different voltages, and I've also noticed that I change the voltage depending on what liquid I'm using.

But they ARe very shiny & pretty Grin

It is a thing of beauty, isn't it?

TBH, I tend to leave mine at around 3.7 and that seems to do very well for everything. Sometimes a different clearo or a new flavour needs an adjustment in voltage (I'll admit that sometimes a lack of flavour or vapour means I should clean the clearo!).

The rainbow is my favourite battery. I think back to when I opened my very first kit and was terrified by this enormous thing in a box (Ego C twist) and thought I'd never get used to something so different from a real fag! Oh how I laugh now Grin!

One of the family I know who are in the business can't stand my spinner because it's so "big & clunky". She's currently using their mini tanks on the cigalike batteries, I think because they are so small & light compared to my set up. But she seems to have batteries on charge all the time as they don't last that long, and forever filling the tank up because it's so small.

Give me my spinner (or Ego C-twist) any day!

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 25/04/2014 20:23

I kind of want one. I usually order everything in matt black or stainless steel and have an MVP and a vamo now so am not lacking in variable voltage ... but they are very pretty and DH wouldn't swipe it!

Thank you! It was at 3.8 so fine now. And I'm LOVING my coolfire 2 great size for the hand, I was a bit worried it'd look like an actual grenade and I'd be thrown out of places! It's got that setting too I've got it at nine which seems the lowest x

Ooh the rainbow spinner looks nice. Anyone know where the best / cheapest place to buy one?

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 25/04/2014 21:09

Cheapest will be fasttech if you're not in a hurry.

BrianTheMole · 27/04/2014 18:55

Thank you. I'll take a look at that.

Lora1982 · 29/04/2014 21:15

The ones on fasttech are spinner 'style' and reviews have me believe they are replcas too so I wouldnt get them there

BrianTheMole · 29/04/2014 21:26

Thanks Lora.

whatadrama · 29/04/2014 21:30

I would use Myepack, they are definitely genuine.

BrianTheMole · 29/04/2014 21:40

Excellent, I'll order one. Thank you :-)

Allergictoironing · 29/04/2014 21:46

I got my actual Vision Spinner from Myepack. But Fasttech will do the Ego C-twist which is identical as far as I can tell (I have one of each)

Shonajay · 09/05/2014 19:38

The biggest rainbow spinner is cheaper on amazon, £15.99 with free delivery. I've just ordered another the 650 for £12.99 free delivery, for carrying in my purse. I find myself using it all the time.
