To stop derailing the clearo thread!

Anyway, yes I would recommend a Vamo V5. I also bought a couple of these chubby little egos in the same order. I am getting well over a day off them and they're so cheap I'm not afraid to take them to the pub.

Allergictoironing · 24/04/2014 19:19

Oh my that IS cheap Plenty Shock. I was happy enough with my stubby Ego c twist at $14 from SlowTech!

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 24/04/2014 19:23

They do twists as a stubby version? I missed those!

ginmakesitallok · 24/04/2014 19:43

I've yet to get anything from fast tech, prefer to buy from UK vendors. Have spotted vape escape have a vv vamo for £45. I fancy a mesh mod, but am a bit worried about faffing with batteries.

Allergictoironing · 24/04/2014 19:47

Didn't realise that was what I had ordered until it arrived! The part number from my order is 1460004, it isn't massively shorter than the standard twist, maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch?

Lora1982 · 24/04/2014 20:46

So are mvp v2s just big long lasting batteries?.... do they have the normal ego/510 fitting for clearos etc?

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 24/04/2014 20:56

Yes, normal fittings and a 2600 mah battery. They also do variable voltage and wattage and can read the ohms of your coil.

ginmakesitallok · 24/04/2014 21:11

And they can charge your phone!

Lora1982 · 24/04/2014 21:23

Think id have to wait for the price to significantly drop before I can justify one!

ginmakesitallok · 24/04/2014 21:51

I got mine for around £35. Around 4 and a half days smoking.

Plenty, I wish I had seen your link before my latest shopping accident. I've just ordered 2 1500 vv Smoke batteries form FT. I have given my mum couple of batteries to see how she gets on with vaping (so far so good) but it's left me feeling a little vulnerable battery wise. They wee things would be great for her when she's out. I wonder if I order some FT will add them to my smok order and ship them together? Worth a try I suppose.

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 25/04/2014 19:50

Definitely worth a try - I hear they're pretty good if you put a support ticket in.

Shonajay · 05/05/2014 22:15

Depends how much you smoke. I was smoking £275 worth of cigarettes a month, and have spend about £250 on all my kit, paid for by not smoking. Included in that are about 40 juices, I'm finding I vape a lot but I'm getting through half the juice I estimated, so it's incredibly cheap.

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 11/05/2014 19:20

So, who likes gadgets? I give it 'til next year before the first ecig with 4G, Android and a billion megapixel camera Grin

There's an indepth review starting at about 16:15 minutes.

I quite fancy a Vamo V5, but Slowtech confuses me at the best of times. I like stainless steel or silver and am I right in thinking that you can get them with bigger batteries than usual? Also, I'm worried that I'll mistakenly order one that only plugs in to American power outlets or something.

Would an expert please be kind enough to link for me?

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 11/05/2014 20:24

I got this one and got the batteries separately in the UK. It has an extra bit of tube so you can use it either with a 18350 battery (about 700 mah) or a 18650 battery (2000+ mah). Myepack sell efest batteries which are good. You'll also need a good charger. I got a nitecore charger (myepack sell those too) and it's amazing! You can charge 4 completely different batteries all at the same time.

They also sell complete vamo kits with batteries on fasttech but I was a bit nervous about battery and charger quality (not sure quite why, I've ordered all sorts of cheapo egos from them).

YesJesseARobot · 11/05/2014 20:44

Thanks Flowers

Shonajay · 13/05/2014 13:50

I've just got my Janty today, looks like a stealth plane, all black and sexy. Charging the batteries now.

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 12/06/2014 19:52

This is so pretty! I saw someone using one the other day. I couldn't justify that price for what is basically a spinner/twist battery - if it was a mod with removable batteries I'd get it like a shot!

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 12/06/2014 19:57

Aha! found it! It's not quite so pretty though. I really like the metalwork on the smaller one.

PlentyOfPubeGardens · 12/06/2014 20:07

very affordable bought straight from the manufacturer Fuckit! I thought I was cured of the shinyitis (and this one isn't even shiny).

Bells367 · 10/02/2018 18:43

Found this useful guide to vaping and ended up buying this one
