mumsnet was an internet saviour when i had difficulties being a step mum, and all else i could find was vomit inducing feel-good pap from american websites - checking out "mum's and dad's" gave me a similar feeling - what a cheek advertising on this website, and this subject matter, when i found nothing on step-parenting during my brief and queasy (all those "philosophy of the day" sondbites! yuk!) visitation.

tillybaby, as I'm sure you are aware, it's really not good nettiquette to advertise your wares all over rival boards. However, I'm sure no one will mind in this case because, as valleygirl has hinted, your board looks a bit inferior and shite compared to this one IMO and it's actually quite nice to be reminded just how fab this place is every once in a while. So thanks.

HI, this is ~Jess~ from Mums & Dads, I am sorry this has happend.
I have not been in here ever before and this is the first time.
I am not sure why this person doing this to me, but I can think of someone at the moment as I banned this person from our first board.

Well I feel quite sorry for that website now!! They set up a site to help parents... someone gets banned so posts links all over another parents website.... and then the website gets totally and utterly ripped to shreds by everyone!!!

Now the creator of that site must have read all of these comments and I know if it was me I'd be really upset! She has still had the balls to come on here and apologise to Mumsnet.

I think you should all feel thoroughly ashamed. Tillybaby was out to get at the other website for revenge and we've made sure she suceeded.
