Adoption your experiences please

If you have adopted can u offer your experiences and any advice please. I realise there are books on the subject but i would like a first hand view if poss.

Don't know much about it but my sister has adopted and is doing so again. Might be able to answer a few queries....

Can only offer an opinion on family adoption;dh and i adopted our neice 4 years ago following the death of her parents. i can tell you a little of our experience if you like, but I do think adoption of a family memeber is different from adopting through the usual channels.
