A year ago DSD showed us some really horrible message requests she was getting from someone on instagram.
The account was private and had a random name and photo so we didn’t know who it was but they were personal and threatening things so assumed someone from her school and they were told. The account was blocked and she didn’t receive any other messages so nothing else was done.
I was looking through who I was following this morning and realised I was following the same account still with no photos and a random name but as I had been accepted at some point could see the whole account and there is an old tagged photo of DSD’s mum suggesting it was an old account of hers that she made anonymous to send DSD the messages.
What the hell do I do?
It’s been a year and as far as I’m aware they get on well enough when it’s her time but why would an adult send those messages to her own daughter. And what if I’m wrong?
