YCBS, I've been concerned that you thought I was being rude to you on the 'why' post on this board. I really wasn't, and I posted a reply saying that the 'cake or death' thingy was a quote from an Eddy Izzard sketch that someone else started on that post. It never occured to me that it might be construed in any other way, because I knew what context I meant it in.
Anyway, I probably look like mad stalker lady now, so I will be off to name change and never be heard of again.
But sorry if I upset you. NOT intentional, and not directed at you at all.

Sorry if I seemed off, it just felt like 'oh, you have no idea what it's like to be a bio mum' and I know I don't, but lots and lots of 'step mums' do try...... I know it's not easy to accept someone else in your kids lives....

ANyway, sorry. I've never seen the Edie Izard sketch, I'm afraid.

Utterly irrelevant, but the Eddie box-set is a rather nifty thing if you've not yet acquired it. HMV often have it ridiculously cheap. I think mine was £15!

I've got it, MM, but thank you for the thought. Even then, I've just sat and watched clips of him for 40 minutes on youtube, anyway. Lol. Cracks me up, love him .
