How long were you with EX/DP before getting pregnant?

I had my dd with my ex after 8 months of being with him, we did love eachother but What I thought about him wasn't correct and his true colours were shown after a while and through other reasons we split when she was a year old.
We co parented from then and it's been up n down but she's a very happy little girl and we are much happier without being in a relationship than we are togther !
He has a new partner and so do I.
How long was it before you got pregnant or had a child with your ex or current partner ?

6 years. He was still behaved in an utterly despicable way when it suited him. Whilst it is important to get to know someone well before having children, it’s not foolproof.

9 years - still turned into a wanker, left for 18 months then realised gradd was not greener but this boat had sailed on.

I was with my ex only 5 months before falling pregnant. He had a child already.

Altogether I had 4 children with him. I’m single now and me and my children are happy. My ex is hard work.

3 months but we had the best 20 years together. DH had two kids from his first marriage, they were in their teens when we got together and lived with us full time. None of it was planned but it all just worked. I'm very close to my stepchildren.

11 years. I was only 18 when we got together. I needed to grow up first.

5 years. Nothing interesting to say about it. He's an exH now

Married 10 years together 12 years.
We then had one a year for three years.

7 years for our first and 10 years for our second. We were teenagers when we started dating. We bought our first house, got engaged and married before we had children. Still together.

DP and his ex were also together about 5 years when they had DSS. Their marriage broke down to due to infidelity on her side. I dont think the relationship was perfect but I'm very much of the opinion if your not happy and it's over leave before you find a different model. I probably only say that as DP had trust issues when we first meet which he has worked on but I found a bit hard.

4 years with my DP and so many people that that was along time to wait??
On the contrary my partner had a baby with his ex after 2 months... then another straight after the first I find that crazy!

Me and ex were together six years before we had children and he still cheated eventually.
