Me and DH have now children together my two DC live with us, his DC visit holiday time due to location it’s not viable for a EOW.

I am wondering how much interaction your OH has with the children that live with you. Mine will do things for them if asked but other that that they don’t really interact. He doesn’t have much experience DC him and EXW split 15 y ago when his DC were 3 &2.

My DC are teenagers 17 and 14 and we have been together 6 years only lived together 3. All happy to move in together and they seem to like each other and rub along ok.

I guess I’m just asking how much should my DH be involved their own DF is involved as much as they want him to be.

If everyone rubs along ok that’s fine no? Or am I missing something?

I guess as involved as everyone likes really. At teenage age its a bit difficult as they might not want to go on walks or day trips and might not all like the same films.

There isn't a one size fits all rule for this, it's just a case of how much involvement they and he want.

Thank you all. I was just wondering but if all rub along ok so can’t ask for more than that. I think I’m just struggling with the transition from children to teenagers and no longer want to be as active with us adults.
