my step daughters call me mum and i like it i have a child with their dad and we were all living as one happy family. sometimes my stepds are rude to me and i ground them they are age 14&16 i fought i had bonded well with them all of a sudden there attitudes have changed they hate me.

My guess would be that it's nothing to do with you being a stepmum but just that they are teens and are going through that stage. I am the bio mum of my teen and she (as someone else so eloquently put it today) has been abducted by aliens and been replaced by someone I don't recognize. I was reliably informed that the aliens return your delightful children when they reach 18.
