Issues with partner

So far my partners been great with my DS who is 4.

We have a 17 week old baby girl together.

However recently he's been bugging me with comments that he makes to DS.

DS is very shy and introverted. He's called him a 'Jessie' which I didn't know what it meant so couldn't call him out on it at the time.

We're going to be doing couples counselling next week due to other issues but am I wrong in thinking the moment it starts to involve my son the line is crossed?

Calling him that crosses a very big line for me, and if there is literally anything else in addition it would be a dealbreaker for me.

He would have no reason to use that name unless he knew the negative connotations behind it. You are absolutely right to put your children's well-being first.
