I'm probably a terrible person but my husband's ex has been difficult in the past to say the least. We now have an amicable-ish relationship but she has been very nasty and disrespectful toward me in the past.

She is now with a partner who has children and lo and behold, is having issues with his ex being unreasonable (which she shares with us at pick up/drop off as she likes to share everything).

AIBU to not really feel any sympathy at all and just think... well... karma. She doesn't see it but she's being treated exactly the way she treated me!

I completely understand! I know DHs ex’s new bf has a young child - the little dark part of me that’s still very pissed off at all her nonsense over the years is so, so, sooooo hopeful that she will get a little taste of what she dished out to us! 🙏🏻
Just a little dark part though, because I still think it’s the child that’s the biggest loser when their parents act like arseholes.

It’s such a shame these people are so consumed by their own control & bitterness that they can’t see the damage it does to the children.

I would struggle not to say something when she started moaning about the ex!
