Frightened and powerless

I'm terrified at the moment. If I get sick I can't work, I won't get paid, I can't pay my bills.

I've not been out properly in a week and a half and am following all the guidelines. OH is bringing his kids over at the weekend and I'm terrified, neither he nor I know where they have been, what they have touched who they have been in contact with etc etc it's just awful I have no control over my own safety

I’m sorry to hear you feel like this. Everyone is struggling with the uncertainty. Can you find out from the other parent in advance if they have been isolating properly and discuss it?

There’s lots of help out there for those who get sick have you checked the government websites. It might make you feel a little better if you had a plan in case you did become unwell.

I don't trust the other parent

You sound like you are suffering from anxiety. Can you find some techniques to deal with this?

Exercise is a good start. You say you’ve not been outside for 1.5 weeks. Why not? The lock down didn’t start until a week ago and we can go out for one lot of exercise a day.

Get yourself out and clear your head.

Sorry to sound uncaring, but you are not a front line NHS worker who is risking their life everyday. You do need to manage this and get a grip.

I have been outside I meant I haven't been anywhere high risk

Thanks @Northernspirit that's really sweet of you
