To have H's children here when self isolating ?

My H's ex is encouraging his older teenage children to come to us BUT we are in isolation due to my H's underlying health issues and mine . We are therefore seeing no one . This is week 3 for us . We are both about 10 years older than her . However his teens have been out to supermarkets for food for their Mum. If they come to stay with us then what has been the point of our isolation ? Am I wrong in saying that they cannot come to us ?

No, you're being sensible.

No, definitely being sensible. You shouldn’t risk your health.

You're definitely doing the right thing. These are difficult times and ultimately you have to put your health and safety first.

When you say you're in isolation, do you mean shielding due to being extremely vulnerable or do you mean something like mild asthma? I'd say it all depends on the exact circumstances.

Perfectly reasonable; we’re in the scenario in that DSDs mum is vulnerable so we have agreed not to see DSD for a while as what’s the point in her mum self isolating if DSD comes here and potentially takes something back especially as DH still has to go to work: it’s hard but a few weeks is nothing compared to keeping her mum safe

@mocktail I already have a lung impaired condition .

That's 12 weeks isolation for you. The children should not come, it puts you at risk.

Does his ex not understand this?
