My name is Gerry Costello and I am working on the BBC1 documentary strand 'Stepfamilies'. This is a major new documentary series, examining the problems faced by Stepfamilies as they try to build new lives together. The documentarties will follow stepfamilies who are having difficulties as they live their daily lives over the course of several months. With the aid of a dedicated family therapist, Stepfamilies will explore some of the common conflicts that arise in stepfamilies and offer practical tips on how to survive them. Lion Television is one of the most respected factual television producers in the UK. We are currently searching for families who would be suitable for the ‘Stepfamilies' documentary films. All that is required is a willingness from all family members to be involved, and an awareness that there are problems within their family that need to be addressed.
