Early I know but I am already trying to think of ideas for Christmas presents for my baby boy.

I need some ideas for his first ever Christmas- he will be 11 months in December and his birthday is mid/end January so I'm abit stuck on what to get him?

What did you all buy for your child's first Christmas and first birthday. I was thinking a 4in1 trike would be a good idea as they are suitable from now till 2/3 years old and a lovely gift as he loves being out and about in his pram

Ideas please I'm getting hounded by family on what they can get him and I just have no clue 😖

He won’t even know it’s Christmas or his first birthday. This is more for you anyway so get him what you think will be nice- I doubt he’ll be offended!

The piggy bank (fisher price I think) was a well loved toy in my house
Peppa pig playset
A walking aid like one with the wooden blocks in a tray that they push around
Light up balls that go in the bath
Rocking horse, there's a lovely bulleyes one from toy story in smyths I think it is
Happy land sets from mother care

Two items that come in nice big cardboard boxes preferably of different sizes.

Seems odd to post in step-parenting

Little tykes (I think) do a lovely musical Noah's ark toy with animal sounds. Available in Smyths. There's a similar Old McDonald farm tractor with animals by another brand. Also in smyths.

Hi!

Fisher Price (I think) used to do a yellow plastic egg box, the eggs inside have two parts and have shapes on, it wasn't lots of money but it was THE ultimate toy as far as my 2 dc were concerned when they were little. It got passed around all the family, all my friends ended up getting them for their DC, I've never come across a child who didn't like it! I hope you have a lovely first xmas with your baby xxx

T2705 · 13/09/2018 09:54

They are Fisher Price Hide n Squeak eggs! Knew the name would come to me eventually! xx

T2705 · 13/09/2018 09:55

My little boy is 10 months, and I've recently been buying things that he likes to play with at baby sensory class; foil blanket, wooden shakers, jingle bell stick, light up balls, juggling scarves, etc.

How about a gift basket with those types of things?

oracle2811 · 13/09/2018 19:19

Oh baby's love the wrapping paper better than any present! My DC loved anything that lit up , moved or was musical! I can imagine how excited you are at your little ones first Christmas!
