Hi everyone!

New to the site. Glad I found everyone.

Having some issues (naturally) with my situation. Been with my partner for nearly 6 years now. He has a daughter from a previous marriage (9 yrs old).

Can't wait to join in!

Welcome. People generally have helpful comments and insight on this board. Brace yourself for someone reactionary comments at times too though.

Stepparenting threads can be really useful, but highly emotive at times. There are resident and non-residents parents and step-parents as well as now grown up step-children on here. It has often helped me see the other side of the argument.

Hi there - I've found reading this board invaluable. Hope you do too.

I have two SDs.... 1age 6 is brilliant and 1 aged 9 is an absolute nightmare. I've nearly left DP, nearly had a breakdown...

Welcome. Make sure your hard hat is polished and ready - we do get some abuse on here at times.
You just need to learn who has an agenda and who is genuine.

But I have had some great advice and support on here over the years which in my opinion outweighs all the shite.
