Hi All

Open question...

Just registered and wondered if I should be here. I'm a father, separated with two children and embarking on a new relationship with the love of my live, who has a daughter who is lovely.

I've been a 'shit', done bad things - but also I'm not a complete and utter ''.

It's the 'by parents for parents' subtitle which I find odd (I do appreciate the URL includes 'mumsnet' - but there doesn't appear to be much balanced conversation between the 'sexes' on this forum, apart from the odd male poster, that I can see). Are men welcome? I would appreciate a female perspective on some things I've done, how I've been in the past - which would help me come to terms with things.

Any smiles, reassurances etc welcome! Please say hello. And, maybe an open discussion from a nearly self-healed idiot of a man might help too!

Whilst the majority of posters are female, there are plenty of blokes around. Obvs unless the go shouting about it (please don't) noone knows anyway. You'll definitely get a woman's perspective here, if that's what you're after.

You don't even need to be a parent to post here :-)

Men are fine on here so don't worry, but be careful putting X at the end of your posts. To lots on here it's the equivalent of stealing someone's first born child or eating live kittens for lunch!
