Are there any good book suitable for 4 y/o that feature positive step parents? I co-raise my DSS with my DP, he has very little contact with his mother, and she's so mentally unstable that she's not really someone we want to encourage - although we allow her to see him whenever she's actually up to it, but it's been 7 hrs in 7/8 months. He does now understand the concept of me being his SM but he seems to get a bit agitated when I read him stories that feature a mum. I could just say step mum instead but I wonder if there were any books with positive step mums in them?
