Happy Mothering Sunday!

🍷 Happy stepmothers day! Also known as 'can't do anything right' day, or 'constantly apologizing for my very existence' day

My dsc got me a lovely card :) happy mother's day everyone we are all just doing our best.

Vim not always! My lovely step mother got cards and flowers from me and my brothers and sisters this morning and my step children took me out for breakfast and their mum for dinner.

I put a little Facebook post on my stepmother's wall and sent a card. It's odd because technically she is no longer my stepmum(my dad died when I was 10 and she is now been married for a while) but we have a great relationship still. I do really love her while of course still loving and having a great relationship with my mum.

Stepson (14) lives with us full time after his mum gave up on him last year. No card for me. Feeling a bit deflated after all I do for him. Know it is as much DP's fault though so feeling doubley deflated. Glass of fizz raised to all the unappreciated step mums out there.

Nothing for me..feel a bit sad..makes me wonder if I have any impact on her life at all. Then I wonder if she feels it's disloyal to her mum..still feel sad all the same..

Please don't feel deflated if you don't get a card from step children. At the end of the day it is Mother's Day and some people don't feel comfortable about giving cards to step mothers. Doe

Sorry posted too soon, it doesn't mean they don't appreciate their step mothers.
