CSA, court order

Not really a step child issue but always had good advice from this board and thought you would all have the best knowledge!

Exdp pays maintance to his ex wife through a court order!

He is refusing to pay for our dd at present and I know if I go through CSA I will get barley nothing as he manipulates his earning as has his own business.

So my question is how does it work if I go through CSA, do they take into account what he pays his ex through a court order and if so would they then change that amount for her so the money was spilt between two or will CSA just work out what he needs to pay, spilt it between two and because it's a court order his ex money will stay the same?

I'm wary of doing anything as clearly if her money changed I know it would course problems for her Confused
