DP was due to go and see Dsd10 today for a few hours before she goes away for 2 weeks.

We've just had a phone call from Dsd10. ExW could be heard in the background telling her to 'tell your Dad not to bother coming up as I'm too busy'. Dsd10 was crying.

Apparently the reason for the change, ExW wanted DP to have Dsd10 Saturday day but he was working. She is pretty annoyed with him about this.

DP will now overcompensate when Dsd10 gets back and I will get to deal with the fallout.

Did she ask very last minute if he could have her Saturday and he couldn't? What's the back story.

It seems so petty of her. The only person she's punishing is her DD. It seems so cruel. Like she's full of bitterness or resentment. Or is there more to this extreme reaction.

I'm divorced and I try so hard to make sure my DCs see their Dad. I just can't understand this. The poor girl.
